Roth&Co is seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to join our growing tax practice. This role is ideal for a seasoned public accounting professional ready to lead engagements, mentor teams, and serve as a trusted advisor while contributing to firm growth and specialization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coach, and develop staff through ongoing feedback and technical guidance
  • Oversee engagement execution to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Identify engagement risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
  • Manage engagement lifecycle including fee quotes, planning, staffing, budgets, and approvals
  • Serve as primary client contact and trusted advisor
  • Streamline administrative workflows and delegate effectively
  • Identify cross-selling and service expansion opportunities
  • Participate in networking, community, and business development activities
  • Ensure adherence to firm policies, procedures, and professional standards
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong technical expertise across federal, state, and local tax matters
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff
  • Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Quick Books, and tax/accounting software
  • CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
