A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Specialist I to join its remote team.
Key Responsibilities Ensure the delivery of accurate clinical reports by reviewing batch and sample level data Create tools and workflows for processing and troubleshooting sample data and clinical systems Monitor next generation sequencing (NGS) performance metrics and address production bottlenecks
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent 6 years of experience in a molecular biology environment with troubleshooting lab or software pipelines
Experience with bash scripting and programming languages such as Python or R Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Experience with project management software such as Jira or Asana
