• Ensure IT support and evolution of the North America activities of Petit Forestier.
• Liaise with North America business and Group IT entity to ensure respect of quality standards and support the business.
• Lead local projects related to IT and coordinate rollout of Group IT projects.
• Administer and maintain: o Environment: O365, Windows o Applications:
Office 365, Igloo, Salesforce o
Infrastructure: LAN/WAN, IP network, Switching, Tunneling, NAS, Palo Alto
• Conduct network troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Manage, maintain and update copiers, printers, and fax machines.
• Maintain all local software and hardware licensing to ensure compliance.
• Support implementation of infrastructure changes and upgrades.
• Recommend software and hardware solutions, including upgrades and acquisitions.
• Provide training and support to employees as needed.
• Maintain and update documentation of procedures and configurations.
• Manage IT-related purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Inform senior management about technological innovations and recommend relevant upgrades.
• Travel to company locations as needed for onsite IT and systems support. Facilities Management Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of building and facility maintenance for Mendon's HQ and branch locations.
• Schedule and manage maintenance appointments and required inspections, including: o Elevators o Core- water testing o Gas tanks and water pipes o HVAC and plumbing systems o IT Rooms cooling
• Manage vendor relationships and service providers for building-related maintenance and repair work.
• Obtain and evaluate three quotes from vendors for significant repairs or maintenance projects to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policy.
• Coordinate, track, and document all facility repairs and maintenance requests.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and service schedules.
• Support capital improvement projects, renovations, and equipment replacements.
• Monitor and report on facility condition and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed.
• Ensure all facilities comply with safety standards and local regulations. Requirements:
Qualified Candidates must have the following Education/
Experience:
• Language:
French & English proficiency required
• Experience/education in network infrastructure, security, and system administration
• Experience managing facility operations, building maintenance, or vendor coordination a plus
• Must meet eligibility criteria for the V.I.E. program Skills and Attributes:
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Curiosity for technology and facility systems
• Business understanding and service-oriented mindset
• Highly organized and able to prioritize effectively
• Autonomous and reliable with strong communication skills (written & oral)
• Able to multitask across IT and facilities functions
• Driver's license to visit and support all company locations Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with occasional visits to other company sites for IT and facilities support.
