GRC Analyst

TITLE: GRC Analyst (Contract)

LOCATION: Remote

We are seeking a GRC Analyst to support core governance, risk, and compliance initiatives within a growing healthcare-focused environment. This role will primarily focus on responding to customer security questionnaires and RFPs, while also assisting with vendor risk management and audit support activities. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in IT compliance or information security and understands healthcare industry terminology and regulatory frameworks.

This is an excellent opportunity to deepen expertise across GRC operations, customer assurance, and emerging AI governance practices.

• Lead and progressively own responses to customer security questionnaires and RFPs in collaboration with Sales, Legal, and Product teams
• Support internal and external audits with timely evidence gathering and review
• Coordinate recurring GRC activities, including quarterly access reviews, audit evidence collection, and risk register updates
• Document and track control activities, escalating issues as needed
• Maintain and enhance a centralized repository of security documentation (e.g., SOC 2, SIG, CAIQ)
• Conduct initial and periodic vendor risk assessments to ensure third-party compliance standards are met
• Track remediation plans and risk treatment efforts for vendors
• Support implementation and monitoring of AI governance controls aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 and emerging regulatory guidance

• 1–2 years of experience in information security, IT compliance, or GRC-related roles
• Experience responding to security questionnaires and customer due diligence requests
• Experience conducting vendor security reviews and risk assessments
• Healthcare industry experience with understanding of regulatory terminology
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and HIPAA
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
• CISA certification and/or startup experience preferred
