UI/UX Designer & Developer (Senior) —

Employment Type:
Full-Time
SMX Pay Rate (High): $76.62/hr |
SMX Pay Rate (Low – 5% Reduction): $72.79/hr
The UI/UX Designer & Developer shall design and implement intuitive, accessible, and consistent user interfaces for enterprise Government systems.
Technical & Functional Responsibilities- Owns: User research, IA, wireframes, prototypes, interaction patterns
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.x AA) and usability compliance
- Design system/pattern library and dev-ready specs
- Partners with Developers for pixel/behavior fidelity
- Provides UX acceptance criteria;
QA validates accessibility/usability against criteria
- Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD; HTML5/CSS3/Java Script
- Works within Angular/.NET front-end integration and CI/CD workflow
- Minimum 8 years of UI/UX experience
- Experience designing enterprise or mission-critical systems
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- UX or accessibility certifications (Preferred)
