Base Pay Range

About the RoleSystems Engineer – Level 2/3 Engineer specializing in IT support, projects, equipment, licensesぇand products. The role provides remote and on‑site customer support within a Managed Services Provider environment. Responsibilities include engineering support for IT upgrades, implementation projects, and participation in on‑call shifts (weekends and holidays).
Responsibilities- Provide engineering support for IT upgrades and implementation projects.
- Deliver tier 2/3 technical support across varied client environments, resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, wireless controllers, and devices from vendors such as Forti Gate, Sonic Wall, Cisco, and Ubiquiti.
- キャン manage Microsoft 365 environments – user accounts, software installation, and licensing.
- Support cloud‑based يحتاج solutions, including Azure Virtual Desktop and Cloud PCs, ensuring availability, performance, and rapid response to system‑wide issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand technical needs, provide updates, and deliver high‑quality customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to implement new technologies and resolve escalated issues.
- Conduct on‑site visits to client locations or the office a few days per week for hands‑on support and relationship management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and support activities.
- Ensure compliance with client‑specific security and operational standards across industries such as legal, healthcare, education, and suhu finance.
- Complete paperwork, including time entries and workflow submissions in a timely manner.
- Participate in assigned on‑call shifts for weekends and holidays (rotation).
- Over 4 years of experience in tier 2/3 technical support, preferably in a Managed Services Provider environment.
- Basic Microsoft 365 administration – user management, software installation, and licensing.
- Network administration and troubleshooting experience with firewalls, routers, switches, wireless controllers, and preferred vendors (Forti Gate, Sonic Wall, Cisco, Ubiquiti, Sophos).
- Excellent customer service skills, supporting industries such as legal, accounting, healthcare, and education.
- Available for in‑office or on‑site client visits approximately three times per week.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Primary client locations:
Nassau County, Brooklyn, Westchester, and NYC.
Annual Compensation: $80,000 – $115,000 (exact amount varies based on skills, experience, education).
