GIS Change Management Specialist (eGIS Transformation)
📍 Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid) | 💼 6-Month Contract
Con Edison is seeking a GIS Change Management Specialist to support the rollout of its enterprise Geographic Information System (eGIS) transformation. This role sits within the Change Management team and plays a critical part in driving adoption of new GIS mapping tools through effective training, communications, and user‑focused content.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys translating technical tools into clear, engaging materials that help end users succeed.
What You’ll Do- Support change management efforts for Con Edison’s eGIS initiative, including the rollout of Esri ArcFM and Schneider Electric’s ArcFM Designer XI
- Develop and deliver training and communications to drive user adoption across the organization
- Create high‑quality content in multiple formats, including:
- Demo videos
- PDF job aids and self‑guided learning materials
- Newsletters, SharePoint, and MS Teams content
- Partner with subject matter experts, developers, and change managers to identify training and communication needs
- Lead content review cycles, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Manage content calendars and ensure materials stay current throughout project phases
- Track engagement and performance metrics and provide insights to the team
- Support additional eGIS change management initiatives as needed
- Hands‑on experience with GIS Esri tools (ArcGIS / Arc Map; ArcFM experience strongly preferred)
- Proven experience creating training materials (job aids, videos, learning modules)
- Experience supporting organizational change initiatives
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams
- Experience working on large, multi‑stakeholder projects
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- High attention to detail and organization
- Excellent time management and ability to juggle priorities
- Quick learner with the ability to absorb and apply new tools and processes
- Location: Brooklyn, NY
- Work Model: Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM ET
- Contract Length: 6 months (extension based on performance)
- Interview Process: 2 steps
- Start Date: February 2, 2026
