We are seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from reviewing resumes and conducting intake calls to interviewing, vetting candidates, and extending offers. The Recruiter plays a critical role in identifying talent that not only meets job requirements but also aligns with the organization’s culture and core values.
The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare recruitment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to assess both technical qualifications and personal fit. This position requires excellent judgment, professionalism, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities Talent Sourcing & Resume Review- Review and evaluate resumes to identify qualified candidates
- Screen applicants to assess experience, skills, and alignment with role requirements
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system
- Conduct intake calls and initial screenings with candidates
- Schedule and lead interviews to evaluate qualifications, communication skills, and cultural fit
- Assess candidates’ alignment with organizational core values
- Evaluate candidates’ experience, references, and overall suitability
- Exercise strong judgment in determining candidate fit and readiness
- Partner with hiring managers to provide recommendations and insights
- Negotiate salaries and employment terms in alignment with company guidelines
- Prepare and send offer letters in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate clearly with candidates throughout the offer and onboarding process
- Work closely with internal teams to understand hiring needs and priorities
- Support recruitment process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of hires
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare recruitment experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good judgment and ability to assess character and cultural fit
- Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Familiarity with recruiting best practices and compliance considerations
