We partner with schools, food pantries, nonprofit organizations, and city agencies across NYC to increase access to fresh, nutritious meals. Position Summary

Green Top Farms is seeking a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our growing team. This role will manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions across operations, catering, logistics, and corporate teams. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and comfortable managing a high volume of candidates while creating a positive and welcoming candidate experience.

This role reports to the Human Resources Generalist and works closely with hiring managers across the organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with the People Operations team to build and maintain scalable hiring processes, best practices, and consistency across the organization
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting through onboarding under the guidance of the Human Resources Generalist
  • Post and manage job openings across job boards, social media platforms, and community-based sourcing channels
  • Proactively source candidates using creative and strategic outreach methods
  • Review resumes and applications to assess experience, qualifications, and alignment with open roles
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate availability, motivation, communication skills, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, working closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and timely process
  • Facilitate a positive, respectful, and engaging candidate experience at every stage of the hiring process
  • Collect, document, and track interview feedback within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS
  • Assist with background checks and reference checks, as applicable
  • Support continuous improvement of recruiting workflows, sourcing strategies, and time-to-fill metrics
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions, interview questions, and selection criteria
Who You Are
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple open roles and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and documentation skills
  • Tech-savvy with experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Extroverted and people-focused, with a genuine interest in connecting candidates to meaningful work
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Recent graduates are welcome to apply; responsibilities may be adjusted based on experience level
