* Job Summary:
** The Social Sales and Events Manager is responsible for generating revenue by soliciting, booking, and up-selling weddings, mitzvahs, and other social events. This role manages event planning, catering services, and banquet facilities while developing new business opportunities to meet sales goals. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of weddings and social events, with a focus on building client relationships to drive hotel revenue.
** Essential Functions and Duties:
** Maintain knowledge of industry and market trends, particularly among competitors.

*** Required Experience, Education, and
Skills:
** Minimum of 2 years of management experience in Social Group Sales and/or Catering Sales. Strong knowledge of social events, including weddings, mitzvahs, and other special occasions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. Proficiency in creating and executing marketing campaigns, including direct mail, social media, and ads.
Experience with Sales Pro and Hilton OnQ systems is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple events and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in planning and executing events. Primarily indoor office work with frequent interaction with clients, internal teams, and vendors.
