As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate and assess patients’ abilities in daily living skills, motor skills, sensory awareness, and independent living.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and set achievable goals tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Deliver therapy services in day programs and home settings, collaborating with families and staff for holistic care.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all service and billing regulations.
• Maintain a minimum caseload of 10 individuals (approximately 4 hours of therapy).

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience:
  
  At least 2 years working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Licensure:
  Current NY State license in Occupational Therapy.
• IPSIDD approval preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
