Overview

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large, successful, and stable Healthcare company that is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and energetic Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) for direct hire.

The focus of this position is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, provide leadership and supervision of all departments and staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. The goal is to provide a high level of care to the residents. This is a very large and highly rated facility located in Brooklyn, NY. The company is well-established and provides strong corporate support at every level.

The successful candidate will have several years of experience as an Administrator with demonstrated success in staff leadership and retention, census and business development, and financial management within a skilled nursing home. Additionally, have experience in developing and implementing policies as needed and a record of seeking continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of experience as an Administrator in long-term care, sub-acute care, or a rehabilitation inpatient facility.
  • Current and active NY LNHA State License
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Care Administration or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of current federal, state, local, and corporate guidelines and regulations governing management in long-term healthcare facilities.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare procedures and applicable policies
  • Well-versed in Dept. of Health regulations, Labor law, OSHA, etc.
  • Experienced in preparing and maintaining budgets
  • Superior communication skills...ability to communicate and work harmoniously with staff, residents and resident families, physicians, social workers, etc.
