Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Senior Care Therapy is seeking full‑time or part‑time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our mission of providing in‑person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We serve over 300 skilled nursing facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD.
We handle all administrative responsibilities—billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre‑certifications—so you can focus on delivering exceptional clinical care.

- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions in sub‑acute or skilled nursing facilities.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
- Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
- Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards using our clinician‑designed EHR.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state where applying.
- Effective oral and written communication in English.
- Basic proficiency with technology, including EHR.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to regulatory compliance.
- Ability to provide in‑person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes per session.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and move between rooms throughout the day.
- Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities.
- Previous clinical experience in sub‑acute, long‑term care, or geriatric setting.
- History of treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
- Psychology or addictions experience is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Salary $56,000–$90,000 annually.
