Job Summary:

• Join a leading multi-specialty physician practice as a Medical Assistant in the Primary Care department.

• This contract position is based in East New York, NY, with a Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week.

• The role requires hands-on experience in specimen handling, patient interaction, and maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience

• Certification as a Medical Assistant

• Knowledge of venipuncture and laboratory equipment

• Experience in Pediatrics, Infusion, Chemo, or Oncology is a plus

• Experience with Adults and Geriatrics is preferred

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant

• Certification as a Medical Assistant

• Proficiency in venipuncture techniques

• Familiarity with quality control and assurance procedures

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
