We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and attentive Aide/Companion to provide one-on-one support to an elderly individual in Brooklyn. This role is focused on companionship, daily assistance, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate is patient, warm, and respectful, with a genuine desire to support an older adult in maintaining comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Hebrew fluency is a MUST. This position does notlessly require a license.

• Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support throughout the day
• Communicate clearly and consistently in Hebrew
• Assist with daily routines, including morning and evening preparation
• Offer reminders for medications as directed (no administering required)
• Help with light meal preparation and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
• Support mobility by assisting with walking or transfers as needed
• Accompany the individual to appointments, errands, or short outings when required
• Engage the individual in conversation, reading, light activities, or hobbies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment through light housekeeping
• Monitor overall well-being and report any changes or concerns to family or care coordinators
• Ensure a calm, respectful, and supportive presence at all times

• Fluent Hebrew speaker (required)
• Experience working with elderly individuals strongly preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow routines and respect personal boundaries
• No professional license required

The ideal candidate is someone who truly enjoys working with seniors and understands the importance of companionship, consistency, and empathy. You should be comfortable providing support over long daytime hours and be able to build a trusting, respectful relationship with the individual and their family.
