RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
- Monitor and analyze material, labor, and overhead costs for custom print projects.
- Prepare and maintain standard cost models; update for changes in pricing or production methods.
- Investigate and report cost variances to management.
- Provide cost data to support pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and compliance with accounting standards
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER ROLE:
- 5+ years General Accounting
- Attention to detail
- Excel Skills (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUPs)
