Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is seeking an experienced Director of FP&A to join our Brooklyn office. ఇలాReporting directly to the CFO, you will lead planning, forecasting, and analytics throughout the organization, providing financial clarity for day‑to‑day and strategic Algunas decisions.

Location:

Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Hybrid work model – in‑office two to three days per week.

• Own budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the entire business.
• Build and maintain robust models to forecast revenue, margin, and cash flow.
• Develop scenario analyses and models to evaluate growth and investment decisions.
• Lead cash forecasting to support investment and working‑capital management.

• Create monthly and quarterly management reporting packages that explain results, variance drivers, and forward‑looking implications.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to link financial performance to business drivers.
• Work closely with the Controller and Operations teams to analyze product and channel‑level profitability, pricing strategies, and cost structures.
• Assist the CFO with board reporting, capital allocation decisions, and other high‑impact projects.

• Partner with Accounting and IT to improve data flows between Net Suite, BI platforms, and planning tools; automate where possible.
• Establish scalable, repeatable processes that bring accuracy to planning cycles

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 8‑12 years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 3+ years leading FP&A in a CPG, food & beverage, or retail environment.
• Strong technical modeling skills with mastery of Excel/Google Sheets, including pivot tables, nested formulas, and scenario modeling.
• Proven ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights; experience building and maintaining dynamic dashboards a plus.
• Experience partnering directly with a CFO or senior leadership team in aIssuer growth‑stage or resource‑constrained environment.
• Solid understanding of P&L management, cash flow, and key business metrics in CPG or manufacturing contexts.
• Highly collaborative, curious, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Base salary: $160,000 – $200,000 per year. Annual bonus potential included.
