OverviewWe’re seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our Victorian team, supporting our Brooklyn and Hampton Park resource recovery facilities.
This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to a proactive HSEQ professional with experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
You’ll work closely with operational teams to drive a strong safety-first culture, manage safety management systems, lead incident investigations, oversee injury management and return-to-work programs, and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and regulatory requirements. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining ISO accreditations and continuously improving our HSEQ frameworks across site operations.

You’re comfortable engaging with leaders and frontline teams alike, and you bring a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.
- Tertiary qualifications in HSEQ or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ HSEQ experience within industrial, manufacturing or engineering environments
- Experience conducting and reporting on detailed incident investigations (ICAM experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, Workers Compensation and contemporary safety practices
- Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, SWMS, risk assessments and safety procedures
- Experience conducting site inspections, internal audits and toolbox talks
- Ability to manage regulator interactions (e.g. Safe Work, EPA)
- Experience maintaining ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications
- A genuine passion for building and sustaining a strong safety culture
