This is a part time position. The working hours are 8am to 12:15pm (AM PT) and 12:15pm to 4:30pm (PM PT) Monday through Thursday and 11:15am to 1:45pm on Friday.
Magen David Yeshivah is looking for Keriah Teacher at our Brooklyn school. The school year is consistent with the Jewish calendar and closed during summer.
Responsibilities
Teaching Keriah
Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress.
Educate and support students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks.
Plan lessons that target specific skills and concepts.
Cultivate core Jewish values such as kindness, respect, compassion and integrity within students.
Participates in various student and parent activities which occur in school including PTA and student clubs.
Qualifications:
Classroom experience
Fluency in Hebrew is required
