Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brooklyn, NY for a Childcare Director. The Childcare Director will oversee daily operations of the childcare center, ensure compliance with safety and education standards, and create an engaging learning environment. Responsibilities include managing staff, fostering positive relationships with families, facilitating curriculum implementation, and maintaining high levels of customer service. The Childcare Director will play a key leadership role in guiding both staff and children in achieving their developmental and educational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Childcare and Early Childhood Development
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with parents, staff, and children
• Background in Education, including knowledge of curriculum implementation and child development best practices
• Excellent Customer Service skills to build positive relationships with families and address inquiries or concerns effectively
• Previous leadership experience in a childcare or educational setting is highly preferred
• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field is a plus
• Ability to manage scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with state regulations
