- Provide lesson plans and conduct instructional activities that promote progress as reported.
- Assess and prepare IFSP/IEP documents; implement and evaluate short‑ and long‑term goals.
- Provide educational assessment and evaluation of students annually in all educational domains.
- Prepare and adapt individual and group lesson plans, materials, and necessary environmental modifications.
- Maintain records of daily attendance and progress; write periodic progress reports, annual reports, and other requested data.
- Serve as a member of interdisciplinary team meetings, annual reviews, parent meetings, special review committee meetings, in‑services, etc. as required.
- Attend regular staff meetings, student reviews, district meetings, and conferences.
- Collaborate with parents on program content and progress of their child.
- New York State Certification in Special Education
- New York State Certification in Early Childhood Education or N‑6
- Bachelor's degree or better in Special Education
- Experience as an Early Intervention/Preschool Special Education teacher
- NYS Special Education Teacher license
