Assistant Professor - Cognitive Neuroscience (Psychology)

Brooklyn College of the City University of New York (CUNY) invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Psychology with a starting date in August 2026, with a research focus in Cognitive Neuroscience.

• Teaching undergraduate, master’s, and/or doctoral courses.

• Developing and maintaining a funded research agenda.

• Advising, mentoring, and training undergraduate and graduate students.

• Participating in college, department, and/or university committees, and various other service commitments (e.g., curriculum development, student outreach).

• Ph.D. in Psychology or related field from an accredited institution (including candidates who expect to complete their degree prior to the start date).

• A record of published research in peer‑reviewed journals.

• Ability to teach undergraduate or graduate courses.

• Ability to teach in modalities offered at Brooklyn College such as face‑to‑face, online (synchronous and asynchronous), evening, and weekends. (

• Potential for excellence in teaching, including online teaching, and scholarship.

$79,598 - $102,017;
Salary commensurate with experience and credentials.
