The Berkeley Carroll School is a Pre-K through grade 12 college-preparatory school of almost 1,000 students located in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn in New York City. The Berkeley Carroll Middle School seeks an enthusiastic Spanish teacher, committed to professional growth, for a full-time leave replacement from March 9, 2026, to June 15, 2026. Candidates must have native or near-native language proficiency, as well as a practical grasp of technology. The Middle School Language Department offers a comprehension-based communicative approach to language acquisition, based on literacy and intercultural communication.
Students actively engage in the target language to develop language functionally.

Salary and benefits are highly competitive and will be offered commensurate with experience and credentials. The annual salary range for this 70k-100k compensation will be prorated for the time worked in the 25-26 academic year.
