A school in Brooklyn is seeking a caring and dependable Substitute Teacher – Early Childhood to support classrooms serving young learners. This role involves maintaining a nurturing, structured environment and continuing classroom routines in the absence of the lead teacher. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and experienced in early childhood education.

• Provide classroom coverage for early childhood classrooms as needed
• Implement lesson plans and daily routines left by the lead teacher
• Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
• Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, and transitions
• Support social, emotional, and developmental growth
• Maintain classroom order and positive behavior management
• Communicate with administrators and staff regarding classroom needs
• Follow all school policies and procedures

• Experience working with young children in an early childhood or school setting preferred
• Understanding of early childhood development and classroom routines
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
