Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiologist to diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases of the cardiovascular system. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive cardiac care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term management of patients with heart and vascular conditions. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent diagnostic skills, and a patient-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients through medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension.
- Interpret diagnostic studies such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and cardiac imaging.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medications, lifestyle modifications, and procedural interventions when appropriate.
- Perform or assist with cardiac procedures based on specialty training and credentialing.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients on cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical meetings, and continuing medical education activities.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.
- Active medical license or eligibility for licensure in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, or Advanced Heart Failure (preferred but not required).
- Experience in hospital-based or multi-specialty clinical environments.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Practice settings may include hospital, outpatient clinic, or specialty cardiovascular centers.
- May involve on‑call responsibilities and extended hours based on patient care needs.
