. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11‑floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state‑of‑the‑arts surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.
The Integrated Women's Mental Health clinic at South Brooklyn Health is established through the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence Award from New York State. This unique program provides a variety of behavioral health services to women in the pre‑ and postpartum period, including OB behavioral health integration, psychiatric diagnostic evaluation and medication management, and utilizes evidence‑based therapies for anxiety and depression.
The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

- Role will include pre‑conception counseling and psychoeducation, as well as evaluation and treatment for women during pregnancy and continuing as long as one year postpartum.
- Collaborate with a team of psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and OB‑GYNs.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.
- License to practice medicine in the State of New York.
- Annual Base Salary: $267,900* (board eligible); $278,200* (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
- The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690** (board eligible) and $450,020** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
