Pediatric Neurologist; Part Time

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a part time Pediatric Neurologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11‑floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state‑of‑the‑art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.

• Evaluate and diagnose neurological disorders in pediatric patients.
• Develop and manage treatment plans tailored to each patient, which may include medications, therapy, or surgical referrals.
• Provide ongoing management of chronic neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with other pediatric specialists, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers.
• Educate families on disease management, treatment options, and long‑term care.
• Contribute to teaching and training of residents and medical students.

• Unrestricted NY state medical license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $135,000
* based on a 24‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is $172,500**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• Projected bonus of up to $24,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
