Opportunity Details- Oversee inpatient consults for Pediatric Infectious Disease cases (1 in
3). - Conduct Ambulatory Care sessions for Pediatric Infectious Disease conditions, including Pediatric HIV and exposed infants born to HIV-positive mothers.
- Support the Pediatric Hospitalist team, as needed.
- Provide education and training to medical students, residents, hospital staff, and community partners.
- Academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University available, commensurate with experience.
- Mentorship and growth opportunities for research, in the education and administrative tracks based on interest of the candidate.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Infectious Disease
- Board Certification in Pediatrics
- Active medical license in New York State
The annual base salary
: $245,000
* based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $325,020
** which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
