Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Gastroenterologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11‑floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state‑of‑the‑art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—to keep our community healthy and accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually.

Opportunity Details- Provide comprehensive gastroenterological care for our diverse patient population.
- Provide care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
- Provide comprehensive women’s health – emotional support to women facing gastrointestinal issues.
- Perform diagnostic / therapeutic upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and/or push enteroscopy for patients seen in gastroenterology clinic.
- Perform advanced/biliary endoscopy services including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, and enteral stenting.
- Perform and interpret capsule endoscopy procedures.
- Provide gastroenterology consultations for inpatients.
- Will be responsible for providing a diverse range of gastroenterological care to both inpatients and outpatients.
- Advanced GI fellowship preferred.
- Board certification in Gastroenterology or ability to become board certified within 5 years of hire.
- Unrestricted NYS medical license, or ability to obtain one.
- Cultural sensitivity and experience treating an underserved patient population preferred.
- Annual base salary: $361,000 (board eligible) $371,000 (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week.
- Estimated annual total compensation: $491,520 (board eligible) $501,520 (board certified).
- Projected bonus up to $40,000 contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) company contribution: 3% immediately vested, additional 7% after one year.
