Landscape Designer​/Architect

Nishiel Patel Design Office is seeking a full‑time design professional to join our growing practice. From our Brooklyn studio, we work on residential and institutional projects in New York, Connecticut, and Texas.

We value collaboration, craft, and detail, and we encourage our designers to be involved in every phase of a project, from concept through final installation. Our studio culture emphasizes both design excellence and technical rigor within a supportive, creative environment.

• 2 – 4 years professional experience
• Bachelor or Masters of Landscape Architecture degree from an accredited college or university;
• applicants with Bachelor or Masters of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university may also be considered.
• Demonstrated documentation experience on complex projects
• Project management/project coordination experience is a plus.

• Able to work with all colleagues in a collaborative studio environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively participate in client and consultant meetings
• Strong time management, critical thinking and organizational skills
• Strong graphic representation and communication skills

• AutoCAD (proficient)
• Adobe Creative Suite:
  Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat, Illustrator (proficient)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Rhino (proficient)
• Enscape or Lumion (preferred, but not required)
