Job DescriptionChused & Co. is seeking a freelance interior architectural drafter to assist designers in floor plans, elevations, sketch models and presentation ready renders. This role requires a designer with exceptional technical drawing ability to produce documents efficiently.
This is an in-office role with partial remote flexibility after the first phase of work. Initial commitment is one month, with potential for extension.
Responsibilities- Produce high-quality 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings in AutoCAD.
- Develop complete drawing sets for contractor bidding and active construction.
- Create 3D models and renderings in Sketch Up and Enscape for design presentations.
- Manage multiple projects at once, maintaining accuracy, speed, and clear priorities.
- Communicate effectively with the internal design team.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, or coordination issues before they become problems.
- Maintain consistent drafting standards and organized file structures across all projects.
- Exceptional AutoCAD proficiency and strong rendering skills in Sketch Up and Enscape.
- Experience producing bid sets and construction-ready documents.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to take initiative, follow direction precisely, and work with minimal oversight.
- Strong organizational habits and meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced studio environment with shifting deadlines.
