As an Arena Tour Guide, you’ll be the face of our iconic venue, guiding guests through our rich history and sharing fascinating stories, while keeping the tour fun and engaging. You’ll need to think quickly, adjust your approach based on the group, and personalize each tour to ensure it’s exactly what the guests want—making it a memorable experience they’ll recommend to everyone they know.

Responsibilities
  • Lead engaging, adaptable tours:
    Guide guests through the arena, sharing rich history, anecdotes, and behind-the-scenes insights, while shifting focus or pace based on guest interests and energy.
  • Create memorable experiences:
    Read the room and adjust storytelling, tone, and pace to keep the experience lively, interactive, and entertaining.
  • Think on your feet:
    Answer unexpected questions or switch up the tour route based on time constraints or group preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service:
    Help guests feel at ease and leave with a positive impression.
  • Personalize the tour:
    Tune into the group vibe and tailor the tour to interests, ensuring no two tours are the same.
  • Highlight arena history and features:
    Emphasize key moments and unique aspects, adjusting focus to match guest interests.
  • Encourage recommendations and positive reviews:
    Inspire guests to share their experience on social media and with friends and family.

  • Experience in public speaking or guiding:
    Helpful in engaging an audience.

Audition Process
  • Step 1:
    Self-Tape Submission — Submit a 1-2 minute self-tape performing a provided scripted side; demonstrate memorization, clear delivery, audience engagement, and professional stage presence; energy and enthusiasm required; submission of a self-tape is required to be considered.
  • Step 2:
    Zoom Interview — Virtual interview to discuss experience and perform a short section of the tour script; Q&A to demonstrate quick-thinking responses.
  • Step 3:
    In-Person Mock Tour (Final Round) — 10-minute walking tour audition; lead a small group through a mock tour segment.
