Financial Assistant

Our client, an apparel manufacturing company, is seeking a Financial Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis. This position is fully on site in the Brooklyn Navy Yard
.

• Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and invoice processing
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets
• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial reports, summaries, and statements for review by senior accounting staff
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by organizing and compiling necessary documentation
• Assist in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including tracking invoices and payments
• Pay Rate: $30-35 per hour, based on experience
• Time Commitment:
  Mon-Fri 8:30 AM – 5 PM. This is a temporary position.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2+ years’ experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
• Precise, detail-oriented, and good with numbers
• Strong Excel skills and generally tech savvy
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
