Responsibilities

Maintain positive customer relations through professional interactions and provide "How-to" instructions on equipment use.

Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment and communicate with counter staff regarding equipment status.

Ensure shop areas are clean and organized, and equipment is safely maintained and repaired.

Diagnose equipment in need of repair and make necessary parts orders.

Complete equipment repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Perform maintenance on gasoline and diesel-powered equipment, as well as trailers and vehicles.

Complete Internal Repair Orders and Maintenance Orders in the company software system once work is completed and tested.

Communicate equipment repair status to management.

Demonstrate teamwork and maintain good working relationships with all employees.

Attend all training sessions as agreed upon with management.

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years old.

Ability to frequently lift 25 lbs., occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., and lift up to 75 lbs.

Comfortable working in environments with loud noise, dust, and fumes, and in unprotected weather elements.

Ability to bend, kneel, walk, and stand on concrete for prolonged periods.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Strong time-management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Working knowledge of company computer systems and tool rental inventory.
