Position Overview
Rust‑Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for home and industry.
Maintenance Technician – Weekend Shift (Friday – Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM).
Pay: $30 per hour with a 36‑hour workweek compensated as a 40‑hour week.
Weekend Shift Differential: $3.00 per hour.
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM.
The primary result expected is to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and the facility structure in repair through pipe fitting, boiler making, insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, electrical or mechanical repairs, installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment, and repairing buildings and floors.
Typical Tasks- Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
- Follow checklists to inspect drives, motors, belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions.
- Use a range of tools from hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
- Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine correct solutions using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
- Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work; clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts.
- Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates to provide information in written form or in person.
- Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality.
- Learn all manual tasks performed within the department.
- Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, following department-specific quality control processes.

- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
