3rd Shift Maintenance Technician - Industrial Machine Maintenance

The Maintenance Tech nician I will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This will require a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

This full-time position reports directly to the Manager Maintenance and is located at our Brooklyn Park, MN manufacturing facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, replacing filters, belts, bearings, etc.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify faults and implement solutions.
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner in collaboration with operators and leaders.
• Assist in the installation, relocation, and modification of equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and parts used.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION , EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• High School diploma or GED equivalent from accredited institution .
• 1+ years of experience as a maintenance tech/mechanic in manufacturing environment AND/OR satisfactory completion of level I requirements from the LDI Maintenance Training Program.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required .

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• 2+ year technical degree in Maintenance related field
• Experience with in the corrugated industry
• Experience with operational excellence or continuous improvement programs – Lean 6 Sigma, Kaizen Events

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The pay range for this position is $ 31.83 – $42.00 per hour, plus hourly shift differential pay (if applicable). The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location.

Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses.
