Brief DescriptionThe Sleep and Supplies Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient provision of sleep therapy, medical supplies, and ancillary Home Medical Equipment (HME) products and services. This role ensures compliance with all regulations, optimizes operational processes, and delivers exceptional patient care.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Directly supervises department staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensures the team adheres to company policies and meets operational goals.
- Provides guidance, mentorship, and support to staff to foster a productive and positive work environment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the sleep and supplies department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of referrals, orders, and communications.
- Manage onboarding, training, and ongoing competency assessments for team members.
- Ensure compliance with insurance policies, regulations, and company standards.
- Monitor department performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones to provide feedback and address concerns.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Regional Vice President (RVP) on strategic initiatives and department goals.
- Address administrative responsibilities, including managing PTO, attendance, payroll, and overtime.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DME, sleep therapy, or a similar healthcare environment.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and implementing process improvements.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, regulations, and medical technology within the scope of the role.

- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of medical supplies or equipment, up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to travel between branch locations as needed.
