Vending Service Technician

C&S Vending Company is hiring a full-time Vending Service Technician, Monday through Friday with 7:00am start time and drives a company vehicle servicing customers in MN Twin Cities metro area. Vending Service Technician is the unsung heroes who ensure that our customers' favorite snacks, beverages, and other products are readily available at the push of a button. Vending Service Technician repairs, and maintains micro-market kiosk, coolers, and automated vending equipment including food, snack, beverage, and coffee machines.

Responds promptly to service calls, diagnose electrical/mechanical malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance to ensure high machine functionality and cleanliness. Key roles involve driving to client locations, providing excellent customer service, is a great communicator with customers and coworkers, and using hand/power tools to repair parts.

Vending service technician requires knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computer systems to diagnose and fix issues efficiently; has excellent problem-solving skills to address the myriad issues that can arise, ranging from coin jams to refrigeration failures.

Vending technician must meticulously inspect and test machines to identify problems accurately, troubleshooting malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions ensuring optimal functionality. Attention to detail is vital.

Modern vending machines are equipped with advanced features such as cashless payment options, remote monitoring systems, and interactive displays. Capable of adapting to new technologies and acquire the necessary skills to maintain and repair these sophisticated machines effectively.

We offer a competitive salary starting at $55,000 - $65,000 per year depending on work experience and skills. Salaried position, working up to 45 hours per week. • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
• Driving: 5-year driving experience preferred.
• Licenses: Valid Non-CDL Class D driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Age: 21+ years
• Experience: Previous experience trouble shooting, repairing vending machines and coffee units preferred; equipment repair is required.

  Basic knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and refrigeration. Ability to use mechanical equipment and hand tools like drills. Possess a diverse skill set and technical proficiency.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis. Ability to perform all physical requirements on a consistent basis.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, customer service, communication, and ability to work independently.
• Background Screening: Ability to pass a DOT physical exam: clean criminal and good credit history.

• This is a mobile role, requiring driving to various locations throughout the day.
• Work may occur indoors or outdoors, in high-traffic, or warehouse environments.
• Mandatory On Call rotation. Part of an on-call roster for emergency repairs on nights and weekends.
