Job Summary

The Case Manager–Job Coach Contractor provides employment-focused services to assigned PIPE participants with the primary objective of achieving job placements and supporting early retention. This contractor role operates with a high level of autonomy and is evaluated based on defined performance outcomes, including placements achieved, retention milestones met, and employer outreach activity.

Program Overview

The PIPE Program supports individuals in securing meaningful employment through focused job coaching, employer engagement, and individualized employment planning. The Case Manager–Job Coach Contractor works exclusively with PIPE participants to support job placement and short-term retention outcomes.

Scope of Work & Key Deliverables
  • Provide individualized job coaching to assigned PIPE participants focused on securing employment
  • Conduct participant assessments to identify skills, interests, and employment barriers
  • Develop and implement individualized employment plans with clear, measurable job placement goals
  • Support participants through job readiness, application completion, interview preparation, and onboarding
  • Provide short-term follow-up support to promote job retention during the first 30-90 days of employment
Job Search & Placement Support
  • Assist participants in identifying job opportunities aligned with their skills and career goals
  • Leverage existing project partners and gain completed resumes, and cover letters
  • Help participants with apply for job applications
  • Prepare participants for interviews through coaching and mock interviews
  • Actively support candidates through the hiring process until job placement is secured
Employer Outreach & Engagement
  • Leverage existing professional networks to identify job leads and hiring opportunities
  • Conduct employer outreach to develop new job placement opportunities for PIPE participants
  • Match candidates with employer needs and advocate on their behalf
  • Coordinate interviews and hiring connections between participants and employers
  • Maintain professional communication with employers related to placements and retention
Documentation & Reporting
  • Document job placements, retention milestones, and employer engagement activity
  • Track participant progress and outcomes using required reporting tools or systems
  • Submit deliverables and outcome data according to program timelines
Performance Expectations

Performance for this contractor role will be evaluated based on outcomes, including but not limited to:

  • Number of job placements achieved
  • Achievement of 30-, 60-, and/or 90-day job retention milestones
  • Employer outreach and engagement activity resulting in hiring opportunities
  • Timely and accurate submission of required documentation and reports
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Workforce Development, Social Work, Education, Human Resources, or a related field OR equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in job coaching, employment services, case management, or workforce development
  • Demonstrated experience supporting individuals through job search, application, interview, and placement
  • Ability to contribute to job placement and short-term retention outcomes
  • Experience with employer outreach or relationship-building preferred
  • Strong coaching, communication, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage an assigned caseload
  • Comfort using technology for job searches, virtual meetings, employer outreach, and documentation
  • Results-oriented approach with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Alignment with the mission and employment-focused goals of Push for Prosperity
Contractor Working Conditions
  • Work is performed independently with flexibility in scheduling, within program requirements
  • Services may be provided in office, community, employer sites, or remotely as appropriate
  • Contractor is responsible for managing their own time, tools, and work methods
  • Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to meet participant or employer needs
