As a key player in our dynamic environment, you will
- Monitor and support patients in their daily functioning and mental health management.
- Create a safe and therapeutic environment while utilizing effective communication and de‑escalation techniques.
- Facilitate engaging psycho educational groups and collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance patient care.
- Uphold confidentiality and respect for patients’ diverse backgrounds and needs.

This role is full time October‑June and then you can enjoy the summer off!
QualificationsWhat you bring:
- Education: High school diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 1 year of knowledge in mental health through academic education or equivalent experience. Preferred 6 months of previous experience in a mental health setting.
- Skills:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to make sound judgment calls in high‑pressure situations.
- Proficient in multitasking, time management, and prioritization.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Crisis Management: Ability to react quickly and calmly, employing de‑escalation techniques and least restrictive interventions.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Joint Commission standards for restraint and seclusion use.
- Professionalism: Display a consistent professional attitude and commitment to confidentiality, while being open to new ideas and approaches.
- Adaptability: Ability to smoothly transition between diverse tasks and make timely decisions in stressful circumstances.
- Quality Focus: A proactive approach to improving care quality, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in all responsibilities.
Pay range for this position is $19.50 to $25 depending on education and experience.

An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
