Position Overview
Rasmussen University is building a bench team for its Nursing programs across Minnesota and North Dakota campus locations. This posting is not an active open position; however qualified candidates for future Full‑time and Part‑time/Adjunct roles will be kept on file.

Key Responsibilities- Full‑time instructors: Teach 4.5–5.5 work units per quarter, supporting the university’s vision and mission across multiple modalities.
- Adjunct instructors: Teach lecture, laboratory or clinical practicum courses as assigned, typically 1–2 work units per quarter, which may be campus‑based or at off‑site clinical partner locations.
The instructor reports to the Nursing Administration Office; depending on location, this may be an Area Dean or Dean of Nursing.
Academic and Clinical Qualifications- A Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) is required for all Full‑time roles; a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) may be acceptable for certain Part‑time/Adjunct positions.
- Active RN license that has never been encumbered.
- Active CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- One year of clinical RN experience required, two or more years preferred.
- Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
- Self‑motivated, flexible, and able to work both independently and in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
- Proof of professional licenses/certifications, official transcripts, and applicable faculty immunization documentation required.
Full‑time instructors: $69,400–$93,700 annually, market competitive and performance‑based. Adjunct/Part‑time: $38.00–$60.00 per hour, with consideration of location, skill set, and experience.
