Resource Aide or Assitant Teacher

We are always looking for just the right fit! We want people who want to be educators during a child's most formative years.

The owner and administration team are on site supporting teachers from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

We are accepting applications for Float Teachers, Assistant Teachers, or Aides at all levels for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. A Resource Teacher and/or Aide acts as a float, supporting all classrooms and covering teacher vacations or lunch break coverage.

We use a team teaching approach where everyone:

• Develops lesson plans
• Meets the individual's needs of the children
• Is involved in parent communication
• Participates in staff and training meetings
• Designs an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
• Interacts with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Presents expectations appropriate to the child's age and developmental level
• Plans and implements activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
• Communicates appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
• Builds teamwork
• Uses assessment tools
• Commits to continuing education

• AA or CDA with two years experience
• OR B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field and one year experience
• OR a similar mix of education and experience

• 12 post‑secondary credits in early childhood development or a related field
• Or B.S., in any field
• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks-6 years
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 18 years of age
