The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing facility in Brooklyn Center, MN. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the plant's operations, including production, quality control, safety, and maintenance. This is an on-site role, located in Brooklyn Center, MN. Only candidates who live in the Twin Cities, MN. area will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements using Lean strategies to improve production efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Ensure that all production targets are met or exceeded.
  • Manage and motivate a team of production staff.
  • Ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Ensure that all safety regulations are followed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Manage plant maintenance and repair activities.n
  • Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes to support company objectives and customer expectations.

Physical Requirements
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Consistently operates machinery.
  • Frequently moves items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Experience And Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred;
    High School diploma with relevant experience required.
  • 2+ years of proven manufacturing management experience required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills required.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures required.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures required.
