In this exciting role as a Manufacturing Technician II supporting Connectors Manufacturing, you will have responsibility for supporting manufacturing of high-quality components used in implantable medical devices. The Brooklyn Center facility supports the design, development, and production of components used in implantable devices for a variety of Medtronic businesses. The core responsibilities of this role is maintaining equipment uptime, drive targeted KPIs, completing preventive maintenance and support other continuous improvement initiatives.
ThirdShift Schedule
Sunday through Friday, starting at 10:00 PM and ending at 6:00 AM
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
- Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
- Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
- Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
- Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.
Minimum Requirements

- Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with injection molding presses and troubleshooting common molded part defects
- Experience working with operations and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience working in regulated environments (FDA, ISO).
- Previous medical device manufacturing experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Two-year technical degree.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$50,400.00 - $75,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
