Location: Brooklyn Center, MN (On-site), with the potential to have a hybrid schedule after training

Assignment Type: Temporary

Compensation: $25–$28/hour

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support accounts payable operations and help transition from a manual workflow to a more automated ERP-based process. This role provides a strong foundation in vendor invoice processing, payment execution, and reconciliation, while offering exposure to process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy in review and validation before routing through the approval workflow.
  • Support the transition from manual AP processes to automated ERP workflows.
  • Monitor invoice approvals and return approved invoices to AP for entry into the payables system.
  • Assist with payment runs, including ACH, wire, and check transactions.
  • Perform three-way matching for both PO and non‑PO invoices.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, respond to vendor inquiries, and maintain vendor records.
  • Support general AP administrative tasks as needed.
