Overview
Job Title: Part-Time Maintenance Technician
Location: Brookings, United States
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various building systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations of our facilities.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and well-functioning work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance duties
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions
- Relevant trade certifications (preferred)
- Flexibility to work on a part-time schedule, including potential weekends or evenings as needed
