Responsibilities
• Set up, adjust and operate machine tools to include Haas, Makino, Miyano, Nakamura, and others, determining speeds & feeds with the ability to align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments & accessories.
• Sequence automatic machine operations and define setup requirements, select cutting tools, and program proper feeds and speeds to successfully machine parts.
• Identify optimal manufacturing processes based on part configuration and batch size
• Inspect work, making necessary notations on work routers.
• The nature of the work is a mix of small to medium quantity runs with frequent set-ups.
Desired Qualifications
• Two + years minimum CNC Machining and Set-up experience.
• Experience inspecting your own parts using various dimensional tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, and Gauges.
• Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment, setting up, and operating CNC equipment.
• Good attendance, punctuality, and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
