Job Title: Clinical Mental Health Professional – Children, Youth, and Family Services
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $60,000 - $75,000 DOE

We are seeking a Clinical Mental Health Professional specializing in children, youth, and family services. This role involves delivering therapeutic services to children aged 3 and up, utilizing play-based therapy and other age-appropriate methodologies. Candidates actively working toward licensure are encouraged to apply, as we provide clinical supervision and guidance to help you achieve licensure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical services to children, youth, and families, using evidence-based and play-based therapeutic techniques.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' unique needs.
- Collaborate with families to create a supportive and healing environment for the child.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services in accordance with agency, state, and federal standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
- Educate families on available resources and strategies to promote long-term wellness.
- Participate in community outreach and education efforts as needed.
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with children ages 3 and up, with a strong emphasis on play-based services.
- Eligibility for or current licensure in the State of South Dakota e.g., LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to culturally competent, trauma-informed care.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information.
- Capacity to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent computer and documentation skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills, especially when interacting with difficult clients or family members.
