Student Life Building Services is a highly dedicated team of individuals who ensure building safety, security, and cleanliness of SDSU’s residence halls, Student Union and Miller Wellness Center.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities- Ensure building cleanliness is maintained in alignment with the standards established by SDSU’s Wellness Center, Residential Life, and Student Union, and perform other duties as assigned.
- This position is eligible for prorate leave and holiday pay.
Knowledge
- Cleaning equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
Skills & Abilities
- Operate cleaning equipment
- Communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Lift and carry up to 65 pounds; move equipment and supplies up stairs
- Work on a 3 to 6 ft ladder
- Work in subzero temperatures and temperatures above 90 degrees
- Associate positively and professionally with students, coworkers, and the public.
