Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Certifications Requirements: State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, ASHA certification, CPR/BLS certification
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Other Requirements: Ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, flexibility with scheduling, knowledge of PCC and Net Health systems preferred

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy execution.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and care reports in PCC and Net Health systems.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education sessions to ensure best practices and compliance with facility policies.
- Assist in the implementation of modified diets, communication devices, and therapy tools to enhance patient outcomes.
